Andrew Georgiadis

Senior Project Director / Town Planner & Urban Designer

Andrew was with Dover, Kohl & Partners from 2001-2012 and rejoined the firm in 2024 after working in municipal governments in Southwest Florida and the Gulf Coast. He has participated in over 100 charrettes and is a parks and open space enthusiast, having worked on master plans in both Southeast and Southwest Florida. Andrew has been an advocate for native plants and ecological restoration. He was trained at Fairchild Tropical Garden's Conservation Program on Pine Rockland Restoration, which is one of the world's rarest forest communities and is only found in parts of Collier, Monroe, and Miami-Dade Counties. Andrew received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture in Suburb & town Design from the University of Miami. He is a LEED-accredited professional and contributed to the LEED ND rating system. He speaks several languages, which helps him to communicate planning ideas to diverse linguistic and ethnic communities in Florida. Some of his passions include greenhouse gas mitigation and climate change/sea-level rise adaptation. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the trails, parks, springs, and wilderness areas in Florida with his two sons.
