Claire’s unique pairing of Urban Design and Business degrees has allowed her to fill several roles on an extensive range of complex projects. Claire’s design work has ranged from transit-oriented urban infill projects to form-based greenfield development. Her municipal experience has included Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Code updates, while her development work has included managing real estate development projects from design to construction. Through these experiences, she has been substantially involved in notable projects including, Denver Broncos Stadium District Master Plan, Campus Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus, Fitzsimons Innovation Community, Fox Park, and Earl’s Court.
These experiences in private development and public planning give her a valuable perspective and elevate her design solutions so that they are both practical and innovative. Claire commands a masterful understanding of the nuances that enhance the public realm and is committed to helping others understand how to push the boundaries on critical elements to achieve walkable, inviting, and unique places.
Claire is passionate about promoting sustainability and community through design and firmly believes that the difference between a good project and a great one is in the details.
Claire received her master's degree from the University of Miami School of Architecture in Urban Design and her bachelor's degree in business with a minor in Urban Planning from the University of Alabama. She has formally studied some of the world’s best examples of urbanism while attending Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Miami’s Rome studio. Additionally, Claire serves on the Seaside Institute's Board of Governors.
