Jackeline Del Arca
Town Planner & Urban Designer
Born and raised in Honduras, Jackeline Del Arca is a recent graduate of the University of Miami where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Architecture and minors in Civil Engineering and Religious Studies. Her passion for town planning emerged during college, tending to gravitate towards urban design studios. Jackie’s passion is found in creating towns that will benefit the public and enrich the general well-being of communities. Walkability, accessibility, and historic preservation are topics she enjoys. She often finds herself working in detail while still focusing on the bigger scope of a project. She has traveled the world to study urban patterns in different contexts, specifically informal cities, including Guatemala and the northern region of Spain. One of her long-term goals is to help ease the affordable housing crisis through urban design in her home country as well as other underprivileged regions.
