The Dennis Port Revitalization Master Plan is a road map and a critical resource for directing growth and rebuilding the heart of the community. Under the leadership of the Dennis Port Revitalization Committee, and with the needed support from the Town of Dennis, this plan took shape.
B. Dennis Town Design and Dover, Kohl & Partners assembled a multidisciplinary team of professionals from around the country representing all the professional specialties necessary to assist the Town in creating a Master Plan and supporting documents for the revitalization of Dennis Port. The team included town planners, architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, coding experts, and illustrators.
The Revitalization Master Plan illustrates physical solutions to Dennis Port’s existing challenges, including transportation, public safety, economic development, social services, land use, housing, historic heritage, arts and culture, alternative energy, and stormwater and wastewater concerns. Where possible, physical solutions have been incorporated into the master plan including new entry signage along key entry points to the community.
