Jupiter Inlet Village
Working with a team of developers and property owners, in October, 2014, Dover-Kohl led a week-long design charrette in Jupiter, Florida at the Jupiter Beach Resort. Throughout the week, staff from the Town of Jupiter, area property owners, and members of the community participated and offered feedback on draft versions of the master plan.
During the course of the charrette, meetings were held with Town engineers and planners in order to gather their input, and an Open House was held. More than 220 people participated in the Open House. On November 10, the Dover-Kohl team returned to Jupiter to present an updated version of the master plan. Key plan ideas include a walkable and bike-friendly village, which is also described in the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and reiterated in the vision, outlined in the in the Overlay District ordinance for the Jupiter Inlet Village.
At this time, the Love Street portion of the Master Plan has been submitted for approval; it is expected to be reviewed at an upcoming Town Council meeting in January 2016.
